Here's a scene from story what we write now - of their talk in the lands of Shepherds.
They both call themselves "lower than humans, servant of people is low as the grass and earth".

It reminds me of the oldschool children's books I used to read -- Rupert especially, how he'd go off to exotic places all the time -- this drawing definitely has that loving sparkle of fascination and innocence.
